To be a Christ-centered church that actively serves, loves, and uplifts our community—meeting spiritual, emotional, and practical needs so that every person can experience hope, belonging, and transformation.

CARE TEAM

The Care team provides Christ-like love and care to members of the church in critical times of life. As Jesus modeled for us so clearly in His ministry, it is better to serve than be served, and this is a mark of a true disciple. Care team members look for opportunities to build relationships within the church family while supporting our Pastors and Community groups. God can use anything and everything we do with our time, even Care, to help us grow as disciples.

STREET MINISTRY TEAM

The Living Hope Street Ministry was started in an effort to show Christ’s love to people who feel unloved or forgotten, following Jesus’ example by reaching out to the homeless community. Our goal is to meet people where they are, praying for guidance, and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead in every step from preparation to encounters. It’s not about having all the answers or a perfect plan, it’s about showing up with a willing heart, letting the Holy Spirit lead us, and trusting God to move in unexpected ways. We offer them essential items, but more importantly, we offer kindness, prayer, and take time to listen to people’s stories. Every person we meet is an opportunity to let them know that they are known, valued, and deeply loved by God. This ministry isn’t about fixing people. It’s about forming real connections and bringing hope where it’s needed most.

JAIL MINISTRY

Living Hope has teams of men who visit the Buchanan County Jail to preach the Word to those who are incarcerated. Currently, we serve on the fourth and fifth Sundays of each month. Over the last two years we have shared the gospel with over 600 inmates and have had many saved through a confession of faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in Jesus’ mandate that “I was in prison, and you visited me.”

PIVOTAL POINT

Pivotal Point Transitional Housing offers a unique approach to helping families and singles overcome homelessness and pursue self-sufficiency. Living Hope sponsors an apartment in adult housing and in the youth housing.
