God is constantly at work in our lives and our church. He invites us to enjoy the fruit of his work by participating in that work with him.
Christ’s work is the source of all spiritual progress. Believers have the joy of participating in their own progress by stimulating spiritual growth through discipleship and devotion.
The harvest we reap in our lives belongs to the Lord, but he graciously invites us to participate in the process. We can contribute to our own spiritual progress by planting the seeds of the Gospel in our lives and relationships.
God has a work that he wants to do in our lives and our church. In order to see that work to have its full effect, we need to give our time and attention to the areas of our lives that are often neglected or resistant to that work.
In a world that is increasingly post-Christian, God’s people will face both uncertainty and opposition as we seek to live out God’s mission together. These times require us to stand firm in our faith, no matter what comes our way. Thankfully, God has given believers everything we need to stand firm in Jesus Christ.
