The Bible tells us that we can “taste and see that the Lord is good.” As we experience God, our love for him deepens, and our thirst for him grows. God’s intention for your life is that a passion for him would burn at the core of your being, and as you seek him, your joy and passion would grow and feed each other in a spiral of joy. However, most of us live our lives through times of feeling close to God and times of feeling far away – Why is this so hard? In this sermon, Pastor Mike examines two common things that derail us in our pursuit of joy in God – and how we can press through these things to experience God in a life changing, permanent way.
