In this account out of Exodus the Pharaoh has enacted a policy to kill newborn male infants of the Israelites.
Almost universally, his actions and this policy are considered wrong and deeply evil. This is not controversial to say.
In our culture today, the issue of abortion is similar, but highly volatile and controversial.
Where should we stand as Christians? Do we side with cultural perspectives of personal rights or heavy condemnation? Or is there another place for Christians to stand?
In this sermon we take a wider perspective to help us see more clearly into the brokenness of cultural thinking and to lead us to a place of God’s grace and justice.
